Hazbin Hotel's Showrunner Has Seen Your Second Season Predictions — And She Has Positive Updates

The highly-awaited Season 2 of the adult animated musical series Hazbin Hotel launches on Prime Video soon, and audience theories has been widespread.

Season 1 presents a diverse group of characters residing in Hell and Heaven, sets them at odds with musical numbers about their clashes, and builds heated competitions and angsty, affectionate connections that drive audience devotion.

The fandom's stated hopes for the new season differ greatly, but certain threads recur frequently: Could a fan-favorite character escape his tormentor? Will we find out more about the mysterious "deal" constraining Alastor the Radio Demon? Will [favorite character] and [other character] finally get together?

"Naturally, I don't make the show with fan service as the main goal," the creator commented earlier this year. "But I believe that me being a devotee of the series implies there's a lot of it just inherently. I also want to see these things, and I hope some of these things to happen, and obviously some of these things are meant to happen in the show!"

The creator reveals her long-term vision is for five seasons of Hazbin Hotel. Future installments have already been green-lit by the production companies, which produce the series.

That could imply fans have to be patient for some of the biggest payoffs — but they could be shocked at how quickly season 2 progresses, and how much of what they're waiting for happens now.

"I feel like people are going to get a lot out of it," she adds. "We get some firsts. I think we receive some incredible reveals, some fascinating origin tales, and even basic elements, [like] I hope this character gets a song. […] We're going to hear much more singing from the previously silent cast members."

The creator is well-informed of the theories and desires about the upcoming season — particularly in the form of audience prediction charts.

"I've seen a couple people make a prediction grid about the new season," she mentions. "Naturally I won't share it, but I've actually done some of them, and almost all of them have almost a bingo. I was like, Oh, if you put this [event] in this spot, it would be a bingo. So that makes me think we do a lot [of what fans are waiting for in this season], because I was like, Oh, there's multiple potential bingos on this card. So that brings me joy."

Hazbin Hotel the second season launches on Prime Video on October 29.
