The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be streamed live on Netflix.
Briton Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" the American as the combatants confronted each other to promote next month's heavyweight fight.
Former two-time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
Despite these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's biggest financial successes, regularly earning substantial paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity evident, it highlighted just how surprising this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is actually proceeding.
